I was only able to catch the 3rd period of Saturday's preseason game, but it was almost comical to watch. It was definitely men against boys type of period. About the only good thing that I think the Wild could take away from that game was that it finally looks like there just might be some chemistry between Parise and Koivu.
It was just to difficult to really get any kind of excitement out of that Saturday game, knowing Colorado had mostly AHL or lesser types playing. At least we know that the Wild is better than an AHL team. There might have been more positives to see in the game, but like I said, I was only able to see the 3rd period. |
